MONTGOMERY POST –
A single-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 10:25 a.m. Tuesday, June 10, has claimed the life of a Tennessee man. Korey D. Vaughn, 48, of Sugar Tree, Tenn., was fatally injured when the 2020 International tractor-trailer he was driving left the roadway, struck a tree and caught on fire. Vaughn was pronounced deceased at the scene. The crash occurred on Autauga County 1 near Cecil Smedley Road, approximately 14 miles northeast of Selma, in Autauga County. Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
