The Prattville Area Chamber of Commerce and the City of Prattville are pleased to present a special Military Appreciation Night during the Creekwalk Concert Series on Tuesday, July 8, 2025 at 6:30 PM at Pratt Park (456 Doster Road, Prattville, AL) in honor of area service personnel and veterans.
The purpose of this patriotic event is to honor and celebrate the courageous men and women of the United States Armed Forces. It is organized by the City of Prattville’s Parks and Recreation Department in collaboration with the Prattville Area Chamber of Commerce.
Prattville City Council members and Mayor Bill Gillespie, Jr. will extend a hearty greeting before the event starts. Col. Shamekia Toliver, Commander of the 42nd Air Base Wing at Maxwell Air Force Base, and David Lewis, Chairman of the Chamber’s Military Affairs Committee, will also speak to attendees.
Patty VanderWal, president of the Prattville Area Chamber of Commerce, said it is an honor to work with the City to commemorate our military community. We honor the men and women who serve and make sacrifices for our freedom on Military Appreciation Night.
As the community unites to support those who serve, attendees are urged to bring lawn chairs, picnic blankets, and their sense of patriotism.
