What to expect from this week s new episode
Even though hunger and fatigue are the only things Nathan, Kelsey, and Katie can think about on a daily basis, they still have to deal with other challenges this week if they hope to make it to the finish line.
Watchers of this week’s new show witness a distraught Nathan as he is forced to confront the reality of a destroyed shelter. As vital hunting skills are hampered by waning vitality, Kelsey must act fast to prevent complete hunger.
Previous episode recap
One of the most tragic and terrible scenes of the season occurred in last week’s episode when Nathan, who had spent more than a week constructing a strong shelter with stone walls, had a significant amount of it fall apart owing to structural instability. Despite being unaware of the problems at first, Nathan has to make a snap decision on whether the shack can be fixed or is a complete loss.
Even though Kelsey has a strong hunting background, her ability to properly obtain essential calories declined last week. Kelsey was surprised to see that she could no longer draw her bow fully when hunting because her shape had slackened considerably. In light of this, Kelsey is always worried that her time on earth may be coming to an end.
Katie was arguably the most successful of the three in last week’s episode, but even though she made some significant progress by gathering the calories she needed, she returned to a camp that was in disarray to discover that baboons had broken in and taken her possessions.
