The cost of the combination meals at McDonald’s is being reduced.
According to the Wall Street Journal,In the US, McDonald’s and its franchisees have decided to set the price of eight combo meals at 15% less than the price of purchasing each meal separately.
Additionally, the business will begin promoting Extra Value Meals later this year, which will include $5 breakfast and $8 Big Mac and McNugget combo meal promotions.
The action is a component of McDonald’s ongoing endeavor to lower the cost of its menu.
Joe Erlinger, the CEO of McDonald’s U.S. business, stated in an internal memo after the company’s earnings report earlier this month that customers are telling them they need more of the everyday value and affordability that characterize the McDonald’s brand, according to the Wall Street Journal.

A new range of drinks will be available at McDonald’s soon.
This September, the fast-food company will introduce the beverages—which include fruity refreshers, cold coffees, and customized sodas—in test markets at over 500 locations.
Sprite Lunar Splash, Creamy Vanilla Cold Brew, Strawberry Watermelon Refresher, Toasted Vanilla Frappe, and Popping Tropic Refresher will be the new beverages.
According to McDonald’s officials, additional drinks are planned.
According to industry analysts, the fast-food restaurant is attempting to compete with Starbucks in the specialty coffee and drink market by introducing a variety of beverages, CNN says.
