Alabama country music star buys lakefront property near her hometown

As a getaway from her hectic life in Nashville, rising Alabama country music sensation Ella Langley has bought a lakefront house close to her parents in the Montgomery region.

She recently told Audacy’s Katie Neal, “Every time I go back there, it just takes me back to who I am at the core of me.”

And I believe it’s crucial to have a space like that when it comes to writing music and being in that frame of mind.

“I think I’ll have to live in Tennessee for the rest of my life, but it’s so close because I’m from Alabama,” she added.

The trip takes less than four hours.

With the success of her 2024 album Hungover and her hit duet with fellow Alabama native Riley Green, You Look Like You Love Me, Langley, a native of Hope Hull, has been enjoying great success.

After winning five Academy of Country Music awards in May, the singer made an appearance at the first-ever Sand in My Boots festival a few days later.

At the awards event, she remarked, “I feel like I’ve been out of breath a little since this song came out.”

Although she has hinted at new songs, Langley informed Audacy fans that her next album is still a ways off.

“My next record won’t be released until 2026,” she stated.

People seem to move on from their records so quickly, but I believe there is merit in taking your time when creating a record and arranging all the components so that it can endure for a long time, long enough for fans to continue listening to it and discovering new songs they love as well as unique details about it.
