AJ McCarron didn’t take his time getting to the solution.
The former Alabama quarterback was asked by Chris Stewart, co-host of the podcast The Dynasty, how good it is to see the Crimson Tide recruit succeeding as Auburn falters.
McCarron said, “Hugh Freeze is full of shit.” Additionally, I believe Hugh Freeze is doing everything in his power to maintain his reputation. At Auburn, he is beginning to feel pressure. I believe he’s trying to figure out and scramble on why they aren’t successful as he enters his third year and doesn’t have the success that the boosters, alumni, and everyone else who donated a lot of money believed he would have by now.
According to On3/Rivals, Auburn’s recruiting class is ranked No. 71 as of Wednesday night. Alabama, meanwhile, comes in at number five. The Tigers have already had two recruiting classes in the top ten.
In their recent remarks regarding the recruitment difficulties, Freeze and John Cohen, the athletic director at Auburn, implied that the Tigers are approaching the situation correctly, in contrast to other programs. Because verbal offers can now be given in paper, Freeze and Cohen pointed to August 1st as a crucial date.

Whether you like it or not, Alabama fans and alumni run the state of Alabama, McCarron added in his diatribe. I’ve never had a strong dislike for Auburn. I’ve been reprimanded by Alabama fans for supporting some of my pals who played at Auburn. It demonstrates why, as I mentioned with recruits, I believe it is foolish for someone from Alabama to choose Auburn over the University of Alabama and not sign a contract with the latter.
According to McCarron, UA offers additional opportunities for that in life after football.
According to McCarron, Auburn is not as well-positioned for success in life after football. From a recruiting perspective, I believe that has been demonstrated. And that’s just my opinion, I mean. However, I believe it also explains why Hugh Freeze is having some difficulties.
