Fresh goods are now available for same-day delivery to Amazon customers in over 1,000 cities and towns.
By the end of the year, the commerce portal intends to extend the service to 2,300 additional locations nationwide.

With just one cart, they can get milk and electronics, oranges, apples, and potatoes and a mystery book, and frozen pizza and equipment for their next home renovation project. Everything will be delivered to their door in a matter of hours.
Orders above $25 qualify for free same-day delivery for Amazon Prime members in the majority of cities. Amazon claims that members can still select Same-Day Delivery for a $2.99 extra even if their order doesn’t exceed the minimum. Customers without a Prime membership can have their groceries delivered for $12.99, regardless of the quantity of their order.
