Biden’s doctor pleads the Fifth in health probe: ‘There was a conspiracy,’ congressman says

Published On:

The Republican congressman in charge of the investigation has accused Joe Biden’s White House doctor of covering up his cognitive impairment because of Biden’s lack of cooperation during a House probe into the former president’s suitability for office.

Following Dr. Kevin O. Connor’s refusal to answer any questions and his decision to hide behind the Fifth Amendment, it is now evident that there was a conspiracy to conceal President Biden’s cognitive decline, said House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer, R-Ky.

Transparency is demanded by the American people, but Dr. O’Connor would like to keep the facts hidden. Comer went on to say that when questioned if he was instructed to fabricate information regarding President Biden’s health and suitability as president of the United States, Dr. O. Connor took the Fifth Amendment.

O Connor was summoned by Republicans on the Oversight Committee last month as part of their extensive probe into Biden’s mental health and suitability as president. According to the Associated Press, they assert that certain measures implemented during Biden’s administration through the use of the White House autopen may not be lawful if it is established that the Democrat was mentally ill for a portion of his term.

Biden has vehemently refuted the allegations that he was not in a sound mental state throughout his time in office, describing them as baseless and untrue.

Comer made legislative recommendations to stop such a cover-up from occurring in the future, but he did not specify what those actions would be.

According to Comer, the investigation will continue after O’Connor’s testimony.

To acquire the answers Americans deserve, we will keep interviewing Biden White House aides.
