The opening of a new restaurant in Mountain Brook is more of a complement to the existing well-regarded experience than a continuation of a beloved one.
That’s what the proprietors are saying about Sea Bar, a brand-new idea that will open in Lane Parke late this autumn.
Sea Bar was initially intended to be Little Betty Steak Bar’s expansion.
Actually, Sea Bar will be on Rele Street, right next door, and there will be a link between the two places.
However, the proprietors of Sea Bar say you can anticipate something similar to Little Betty, which has been acclaimed as one of America’s greatest restaurants: an elegant dining experience with a twist.
According to one of the owners and CEO of Revival Restaurant Group, Jamey Shirah, the establishment has the same high standards for its interior design, service, hospitality, and cuisine.
It will function as a stand-alone eatery. Crossover will occur. You can get certain items at either restaurant. There are two distinct kitchens, yet there is a gap between them.
Consider the interiors. According to Shirah, Little Betty’s dark leather, dark walls, and dark woods give it the traditional, manly vibe of a steakhouse.
Sea Bar, on the other hand, will convey the airy, breezy coastal emotions that are typically associated with seafood. Inside, a range of blush, green, red, and brown hues will be seen.
Regarding the cuisine, Executive Chef Kyle Biddy stated that the menu will emphasize seafood dishes with a blend of Japanese and coastal Italian flavors.
But Shirah answered, “Just as a kick ass.”
Sea Bar will be the cozy, sophisticated lunch, whereas Little Betty might be for that large party or business dinner, Biddy stated.
Shirah stated that although the menu will include some raw items, this isn’t a raw bar.
You’re looking for a fine dining experience whether you’re at Sea Bar or Little Betty. “We serve excellent food in a lovely setting,” he remarked.
The Millionaire crispy fried fish sandwich, sushi maki rolls, and full grilled fish with a ton of caviar tartar sauce dripping from both sides. It will be a slightly more affordable dining experience that is more playful.
In terms of drinks, Sea Bar will offer inventive cocktails and a wine list carefully chosen to complement the seafood-focused menu.
Management posts are now being filled at Sea Bar. To apply, send an email to [email protected].
