Josh Jacobs, the former Alabama running back, was ranked No. 12 in the NFL Top 100 of 2023 after leading the league in rushing yards and yards from scrimmage in 2022.
However, Jacobs’ rushing yardage fell to half of what it was in 2022 in 2023, and he was left off of the 2024 rankings.
Following his free agent signing with the Green Bay Packers last summer, Jacobs returned to the NFL Top 100 after rushing for 1,329 yards and 15 touchdowns on 301 rushes and catching 36 catches for 342 yards and one touchdown.
On Thursday, the NFL revealed that Jacobs is ranked 33rd this season.
The NFL Top 100, which has been around for 15 years, lists the top 100 players in the league as chosen by the players for NFL Films.
Following each of his 1,000-yard seasons, Jacobs has been listed in the rankings. In 2020, he ranked 72nd, and in 2021, he ranked 68th.
The NFL Top 100 will be unveiled two players at a time on the social media platform X every weekday until September 1, when the top 10 players for 2025—selected by their peers—will be revealed on NFL Network at 7 p.m. CDT. This year, the NFL Top 100 will adopt a new digital-first structure.
