Connie Francis, the legendary singer, informed her fans on Facebook that she was in the hospital due to severe pain.
Last Wednesday, the 87-year-old pop diva, whose songs “Everybody’s Somebody’s Fool” and “My Heart Has a Mind of Its Own” peaked in the 1960s, was sent to the intensive care unit of a Florida hospital.
In a July 2 Facebook post, Francis stated, “I am back in the hospital where I have been undergoing tests and checks to determine the cause(s) of the extreme pain I have been experiencing.”

She stated in another Facebook post on Thursday that she has since been transferred from the intensive care unit to a private room following testing. She reported feeling considerably better on Friday.
Due to her hospitalization, she was unable to perform on July 4.
According to Billboard, Francis’ 1962 hit song “Pretty Little Baby” went popular on TikTok early this year, generating over 3 million lip-synch videos.
