During her senior year, Molly Watson was the Cheer captain for Marbury High School, as well as Homecoming Queen and Vice President of the FFA. In April 2025, Watson signed a scholarship with Auburn University Montgomery to continue her cheerleading career for the Warhawks.

“I chose this school because when I met the coach, I was captivated by her attitude, and the positive environment of the team,” said Watson. “Additionally, I will have the chance to cheer alongside an old friend. During tryouts, I felt very welcomed and truly believed I was meant to be there.”

Watson already has several goals in mind prior to getting to AUM. “My goals for college are to stay on top of my studies while balancing cheerleading. We will be competing in the NCA competition in Dayton, and I aim to keep up with both my academic and cheer commitments while also enjoying the college experience with my teammates.”

While at AUM, Watson plans to study marketing and hopes to eventually work in public relations.
