According to their family, a well-known YouTube combo perished in a car accident last week.
Toyota World Runners Stacey Tourout and Matthew Yeomans were involved in an off-roading accident in British Columbia, Canada, on August 7.
In a heartbreaking Facebook post on Monday, Stacey’s mother, Colleen Tourout, wrote, “The families of Matthew Peter Yeomans and Stacey Tourout would like to advise that we lost them both tragically succumbing to injuries in an offroad accident on Aug 7, 2025 in the beautiful mountains of British Columbia that they loved so much.”

The pair used a blog and YouTube to chronicle their journey throughout the Americas. According to CBC News, their automobile was discovered 200 meters down a blockfield. Matthew was discovered inside the car without any vital signs, while Stacey was discovered far from the scene with severe injuries.
She was transferred to the hospital, but she tragically died later that night, Kaslo Search and Rescue manager Mark Jennings-Bates told the station.
According to Jennings-Bates’ account to CBC News, the rescue proved difficult. The friends and family of those involved are in our prayers and thoughts.
