Millbrook, Ala. – Eric Spooney, owner of Pure Home of Alabama, is welcomed in a ribbon-cutting ceremony, July 3, 2025, at the Millbrook Area Chamber of Commerce, signifying his business joining the chamber and expanding to Millbrook.

“We are super glad to have Eric join our chamber and work in our community,” said Brenda Dennis, President and CEO of the Millbrook Area Chamber of Commerce.

Dennis introduced Spooney to the chamber and invited him to share information about his work.

Spooney has been in the water filtration business for over 20 years. He started Pure Home of Alabama, a branch of Pure Home 365, last year with the goal of making pure water accessible to Alabama.

“What has me interested in this area is that it is residential, and it is each individual that is important,” said Spooney. “We believe that everyone should have access to clean drinking water in their homes.”

A common misconception, Spooney explained, is that tap water conditions are not a concern unless people are drinking it. However, people often use tap water to wash their hands, clean dishes, brush their teeth, and take showers, which can also pose health risks.

“We know municipalities do the best that they can to give us safe water, but there’s more that can be done by individuals,” said Spooney.

Pure Home of Alabama presents quality and economically feasible water filtration systems to the community by evaluating individual needs on a person-to-person basis.

With a commitment to health, sustainability and affordability, Pure Home of Alabama looks forward to making a lasting impact in Millbrook and beyond.
