Kseniya Alexandrova, a Russian finalist for Miss Universe 2017, passed just weeks after an elk struck her car’s windshield. The modeling and pageant industries are in sorrow.
The first runner-up for Miss Russia 2017 was thirty.
According to Us Weekly, Alexandrova received a degree in finance from the Plekhanov Russian University of Economics and worked as a television broadcaster. She graduated from Moscow Pedagogical State University with a degree in psychology in 2022 and started working as a psychodrama therapist.
According to Russian news agency Rossiyskaya Gazeta, Alexandrova and her four-month husband had the breathtaking meeting on July 5 while driving through Tver Oblast, which is located roughly 200 miles northwest of Moscow.
The enormous animal jumped right in front of them on the M-9 highway as they were driving home from the village of Rzhev in their Porsche Panamera, with Alexandrova in the passenger seat and her husband behind the wheel.
Her husband, who wished to remain anonymous, informed Rossiyskaya Gazeta that a single second had passed between the time it leaped out and the collision. I was too busy to do anything.
His wife was seriously hurt, but he was unharmed.
He informed Rossiyskaya Gazeta that she was unconscious, that her head was broken, and that blood was all over her body. There was an open cranial-brain injury, and the frontal bones of the skull were fractured.
After other drivers stopped to assist, Alexandrova was brought to the Sklifosovsky Institute for Emergency Medicine in Moscow, where she remained unconscious. According to the Russian outlet, she fought for over a month before passing away on August 12 despite her severe injuries.
In a heartbreaking Instagram post, Modus Vivendis, the modeling agency she had worked with since she was 19, announced the passing of our friend and colleague.
According to the agency, she had the ability to uplift, encourage, and warm everyone in her vicinity. She will always be a representation of compassion, beauty, and inner strength for us. To her family, friends, and everyone who had the wonderful pleasure to know Ksenia, we truly sorrow and offer our profound sympathies.
The organizers of the Miss Universe contest also paid their respects.
In a social media post that captioned a video of Kseniya Alexandrova’s speech during the competition, the Miss Universe Organization expressed its sincere condolences to the family, friends, and everyone whose lives were touched by the brightness of Miss Universe Russia 2017.
