The application process for council and mayoral posts in Autauga and Elmore counties ended Tuesday afternoon. On August 26, there will be a municipal election. Please send your announcement to [email protected] within the next three weeks if you are a candidate for public office. Although it is a free, one-time announcement, the applicant must submit it with a photo. Every other piece of election-related content will be sponsored advertising.
Editor’s Note: Candidates with a Pending after their names indicate that the Ethics Commission has not yet confirmed their Statement of Economic Interest Form or that other details are not clear. Additionally, neither Tallassee nor Deatsville officials had provided us with any official information at the time of this report. When that information becomes available, we will include it.
