June 30, 2025, WETUMPKA, AL The Wetumpka Police Department was called to a report of shooting on North Street between Holtville Road and NW Main Street at around 2:30 a.m. on Monday, June 30, 2025.
When authorities arrived, they found that two people had been shot and were already being taken to local hospitals. So far, one person has been taken into custody. Detectives are still interviewing witnesses and gathering more information as part of the ongoing investigation. The Wetumpka Police Department is asking anyone with knowledge about this case to get in touch with them.
