Son of ‘Walking Dead’ star and Danish supermodel calls serious criminal charge a ‘misunderstanding’

On suspicion of assaulting a woman, Norman Reedus’ model son was taken into custody in New York City.

According to an NYPD spokesperson who talked to Entertainment Weekly, the victim was allegedly raped Saturday morning by Mingus Reedus, the 25-year-old son of Norman Reedus and Danish supermodel Helena Christensen.

According to the site, Emergency Medical Services transported the woman to NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue after she suffered minor injuries to her leg and neck.

Mingus Reedus was accused with assault and criminal obstruction of breathing.

The model said the incident during Mingus Reedus’ perp walk was a miscommunication.

The New York Post received the same response from a lady claiming to be his girlfriend.

You got your narrative completely wrong, a man from a New York City police station told a Post reporter after he departed with the woman.

According to The Post, it was unclear whether the woman in the case was the victim.

The Post claims that this is neither Mingus Reedus’ first run-in with the law nor his first accusation of assault.

Months after he was accused of punching a woman at the San Gennaro Festival in New York City, he struck a plea agreement with the prosecution.

Due to a cut to her eye, the woman—whom Mingus Reedus had never met before the incident—was admitted to the hospital.

According to the Post, the incident happened a week after Mingus Reedus made his debut on the cover of Vogue Hommes, the male edition of the well-known fashion magazine.
