In a recent analysis of airports throughout the world, a Florida airport was named the worst at handling bags.
According to an analysis by Arka, a California-based supplier of bespoke shipping packaging, Miami International Airport, a major hub for travel to the Caribbean and South America, loses about 306 bags for every million flights and 5.5 bags per 1,000 passengers.
The airport in South Florida handles over 1,000 planes daily.
Other American airports that made the top ten are Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (number nine), Denver International Airport (number four), and Chicago O Hare International Airport (number two).
Where does lost luggage land?
