, infielder Eric Snow has landed in the Major League Baseball First-Year Player Draft. The Toronto Blue Jays selected Snow with the 172nd selection in the 2025 draft on Monday.
Toronto chose Snow with a shortstop designation in the sixth round. Snow played primarily shortstop and second base for Auburn in 2025, but he also saw some time at third base while Eric Guevara was hurt.
Snow had played his first two seasons of college baseball at South Florida.

Snow struck out only one more time than he walked in 2025, with 25 walks and 26 strikeouts.
Snow came to Auburn with a gold-glove reputation after hitting .290 across two seasons for USF. In 2023, Snow won the American Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Year Award.
Snow became the second player chosen in the 2025 draft from Auburn’s 2025 team. The
Baltimore Orioles chose
catcher/outfielder Ike Irish at No. 19 on Sunday night.
