Naomi’s reign as champion has come to an end.
During Monday Night Raw, Naomi, the Women’s World Champion, declared that she was relinquishing her title.
Her first child is on the way.
The revelation was made by Naomi and her husband, Jimmy Uso, as a sneak peek at the Stephanie McMahon-hosted What’s Your Story? podcast.
“I’m expecting a child,” Naomi declared.
The pair has been married since 2014, and this is their first child together.
In a clip from a bonus episode of Stephanie McMahon’s What’s Your Story show on Raw, there is a baby on board, Uso, so we need you all to proceed carefully.
Due to Naomi’s lack of medical clearance, her championship defense against Iyo Sky was called off last week.
After just 35 days, Naomi—real name Trinity Fatu—ends her reign.
WWE did not immediately reveal the process for choosing a new champion.
